Early access

Everything is free for now.

Gathered is new. While it's in early access you can keep a house and send a book, a pop-up card, an awards night or a treasure hunt without paying anything, and nobody asks for a card.

The founding promise. Everything you keep or send during early access stays free for as long as Gathered runs.

  • Free to keep and to send
  • No card, no trial
  • Free for good once it's yours

A house

Free during early access

A little house to play in, in the browser: a pool on the terrace, a piano, a pet who wants the ball. The first visit is the terrace and the living room, with no sign-in. Keeping it opens every room, and during early access all it asks for is an email.

  • Free to try
  • Free to keep
  • One key is included

A book

Free during early access

A private illustrated book: one page from you, or pages from everyone who loves them, with voices, songs and their photographs on a wall behind it. Free to make, and free to send.

  • Free to make
  • Free to send
  • As many pages as you like

A pop-up card

Free during early access

A painting that stands up as it opens, a music-box tune and your words, sent as a link. Add your voice if you like. Nothing to print or post.

  • Any tune
  • No account needed

Two small ones, just for fun

Made in ten minutes, for one person, and sent as a link.

An awards night

Free during early access

Pick awards for one person in a minute. They win each one in a little game on a painted stage, it's read out with a drumroll, and their trophies stand on a 3D shelf to keep. Acceptance speeches come back to you.

  • Up to twelve awards

A treasure hunt

Free during early access

Pick a few riddles and send a treasure map. They dig at each spot, answer the riddle, walk on, and dig up a chest at the X with your note inside, or where the real present is. The chest is theirs to keep.

  • Up to ten riddles

Good to know

The key comes with the house
One key with every house you keep. It lets one person in, so the two of you can play together. If the house is a gift, the key is theirs.
What early access means
Gathered is open and working, and still being finished: things will change and get better as people use it. Paid versions will come later. When they do, we'll say so here first, and nothing you kept or sent during early access will ever be charged for.
Coming later
Pop-up cards made by hand from your own photograph are paused during early access, because each one needs a person to make it.
