By using Gathered during the public beta, you agree to these practical ground rules.

Beta status and payment

The current product is for testing and feedback. Checkout is a prototype: no real payment is collected and no purchase is created. Features, availability, storage, pricing, and delivery may change before launch.

Age and invitations

Organizers must be at least 18 years old. Do not invite contributors under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, follow that requirement.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Gathered a limited permission to store, display, transform, and deliver it only as needed to operate the gift. Submit only content you have permission to use, and do not upload unlawful, abusive, infringing, or highly sensitive material.

Private links

Invitation, recipient, and contribution-edit links work like keys and must remain private. Organizer access also requires the owning Gathered account to be signed in. Normal account access does not rotate links. If a link is exposed, the organizer can use the separate Security action to invalidate every private link.

Music

The beta uses short song previews and links to the selected music service; it does not sell or transfer music. A final commercial launch requires appropriate licensing and provider compliance.

Availability

This beta is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted service or permanent storage. Export anything you need to keep. We may suspend access to protect users, content, or the service.

Ending use

An organizer may permanently delete an entire gift from the dashboard. Gathered may end the beta with reasonable notice where practical.

Final paid-launch terms must be reviewed for the business’s legal entity, location, sales markets, consumer cancellation rules, and music licensing.
